So Ian the needle man worked his magic, and my foot has almost returned to normal size. The hues are tending towards the mustards, and all seems back on track.
Megan and I had to cancel our early morning mountain biking this morning due to a break in the drought! It hasn't rained since just after Christmas - not one drop! And although I really want the rain, and our scrubby garden desperately needs the rain, could it just not rain when I want to train? The thought of being struck by lightening in the middle of Mt Cootha at 5.30am was not appealing, so turned over and went back to dreamland! And this was not particularly pleasant....
Ian the needle man, who has spent some time in China, pointed out that I need my foot repaired for reasons other than running over the great wall. He informed me of the drop toilets and said I needed all limbs in good working order in order to squat successfully. Now this was something I had not considered in my Great Wall fantasy/equation! Note to self: buy nose plugs and do 100 squats 10 times per day!!!
To the wall and beyond............
